Then he saw the duck.

Artwork Story

A trip to Dog Beach was going exactly as expected. There was running, water, and a perfectly good ball to chase.

But then a rubber duck floated into the picture, and apparently the ball wasn't quite as interesting anymore.

Who knows what happens next. Maybe the duck gets retrieved. Maybe it gets thoroughly investigated. Maybe the ball eventually gets another chance.

For now, the duck wins.
