The Ones Who Came to Fly follows two friends who have decided that watching the birds isn't nearly as interesting as becoming them.

Artwork Story

They came to Yosemite and somewhere along the way, simply watching the birds stopped being enough.

One became a peregrine falcon. The other became an eagle. Wings spread, they are completely committed to the possibility that flying might just be something you can figure out if you practice long enough.

The real peregrines circle overhead while one has stayed behind to watch.

It's hard to know what he's thinking about the whole operation.

But he doesn't seem convinced.
